If you have published your exam to Blackboard as an exam, simply go to the content area you would like your exam to be in, select the Assessments tab and then Tests.
Choose your exam from the list of Existing Tests. From here, build the exam utilizing the Pool questions. Once your exam is deployed you have the option to change the test settings.
Select the chevron next to the title to Edit the Test Options. The test options are where you will be able to set the test availability, student feedback, and other options for students.
This section also includes testing exceptions which allow users to have extended testing time, and second test attempts. Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in Blackboard and will prohibit students from printing, copying, or accessing another browser or URL.

If you would like to use LockDown Browser on your personal computer, simply download it from your Technology Support tab in Blackboard and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the download. Troubleshooting information, like the date, time, Blackboard ID, and location of the test in the class, can also be emailed to the ITS helpdesk to ensure that students have an easier time if they need any support starting their exam. Leave the quiz available for the duration of the course, with unlimited attempts, so students can access it again if they use a different computer.
